some random thoughts (musical or not) from the past
few days

words tumble out of brains
into a void
of thought...
and feeling...
marble sheep's "big deal" is a big deal and at times i felt
the presence
of Cherry Garcia tripping lightly
on dark stars
for the dead...
another classic japanese band
that has penetrated my brain
rolling stones bridges to babylon was extremely so-so and even "Saint of Me" which I really enjoyed the video of - sounded dull to these ears...[addendum: why did i even bother????]

I have bathed in the luxuriant dirt and grime of mudhoney lately, and am surprised they weren't more on my radar back in the day...they slipped underneath the seattle grunge scene for me, which i liked a lot of, but, it wasn't my fav scene...but if i had known about mudhoney back in the day...
"Here Comes Sickness" & "Touch Me, I'm Sick" are 2 of the best songs ever about sickness...man, listening to these gems makes me want to pull out a needle and stick it in!!! hahaha...not really...but it makes me feel grimy...in a good way!
heres another amazing blog that offers hard to get raw japanese music (without paying a fortune for - at least until you hear it!) -- Ferocity of Practical Life...tons of keiji haino..
get a load of this agnes...
i absolutely thought that Brian Wilson: That Lucky Old Sun (2008) was fantastic!! I was expecting nothing - a couple of nice tunes...then...fuck me dead! i got sucked into it and totally enjoyed it...man, i've always liked the beach boys box set, but now i think it's time to look deeper into the catalog...
i mean it --- fuck me!!! easy 4 **** maybe more???
