Man - we're city folk, we ain't into removing birds, squirrels or whatever the fuck it is from chimneys!!!

I listened to Tex Carman's "Chippeha" recordings from 1947 to 1957 and I thought it was great...it made me smile, and when the recordings for air force recruitment came on...well, I busted a gut!! Ah, times seemed so innocent back then - even drafting kids to get blown up sounded quaint...

I remember in Chatham, I had to go down to the basement, and chase bats around with a broom and whack at them until they got dazed enough that I could finish off the job.

I watched the doc on the Can dvd, and it was fantastic!!! I loved the vintage footage. Can were more punk than I realized. They were exploring there own path and not giving a shit...which is what I think true punk is.

I love Damo's maniacal dancing...Karoli gets so into his playing...they're all great!

It was fun watching Damo and Mooney meet for the first time. It certainly sounds like singing for Can could get you a little "out there"!

Here's the link to
order the Can DVD from amazoni kanada...

The doc was prob the best part of the dvd, followed by the free concert from 1972 (really a blast - jugglers and dancers and all kinds of fun stuff going on), then the Can notes done around the Sacrilege time period. That was a lot of fun, and a good chance to get into some of the personalities that made up Can.

I'm really happy with it and for a little over $20??? Well, good deals good deals rabbit!!!
