pushing pulling
up and down
the circle
goes round and round
and it's back to the
beginning
to face another day
life's movement
is never ending
even when
we're dead and gone.

A fantastic obscure album of Dylan covers from 1972.

Coulson Dean McGuinness Flint: Lo and Behold (1972) This is similar in spirit to Manfred Mann's Earth Band's many great Dylan covers...of whom Tom McGuinness came from. [aside: Is he the guitar player during Paul Jones' era, who stood with a constant nicely stoned grin? I have a couple of videos from this time period...and I think so.] "Don't You Tell Henry", "Tiny Montgomery" and "Lo and Behold" stand out for me. Great shit for Dylan fans.

Speaking of Manfred Mann here's a couple of youtubes for ya.

Here's the clip I was talking about - you know...stoned grinning guitarist. Paul Jones is quite the...um...performer? entertainer? Great cover from 1968. thanx shivluvzmusic.

Here are the 1976 Manfred's in full stadium rock mode, doing one of the greatest car songs ever. "Blinded by the Light". Written by Bruce Springsteen. thanx scc1962.
